📅 Registration Timeline

Online registration for the 2026–2027 school year is now open and will remain available until Saturday 18th July 2026.

​​

If you are a new family, please contact us first at school@gsow.co.uk so we can support you with the enrolment process. We also hold in-person registration days in the last two weeks of June. Please check our website and Facebook page for announcements and specific dates.

🧑‍🏫 Greek for Adults | Division of Lifelong Learning

​​

We offer 10-week Greek language courses for adults at the following levels:

We offer structured Greek language courses for adults, designed to build confidence and communication skills in a supportive environment. Classes are small, friendly, and progressive.​

​​

Certification: A certificate of participation is awarded after each 10-week course. Support is available for learners preparing for recognised Greek language qualifications.

​

The fee for each 10-week course is £180, and all classes begin in October 2026.

​​

🧸 Playgroup | Division of Early Years

​

Our Greek Language Playgroup in Cardiff is designed for children aged 2 to 4 years old and offers a joyful, play-based introduction to the Greek language and culture. Through songs, movement, stories, and creative activities, children build early language skills in a warm, nurturing environment.

​

• Priority is given to preschool-age children.

• Sessions are designed for gentle immersion and social development.

• Parents and carers are asked to accompany children.

£30/month for one child

🧒 School-Age Children | Division of Hellenic Academy

​​

Nursery Class: Children may be enrolled if they turn 4 years old by September 2026.

​

Class A: Children may be enrolled in Class A if they turn 6 years old by September 2026.

If you are new to the school, we would be happy to discuss which class is most suitable for your child.

💳 Fees for Nursery to GCSE

​​

The standard fee is £42/month (or £420 per year) for one child, and £74/month (or £740 per year) for two children.

​​

Fees are payable in 10 monthly instalments from September to June.

​​

We’re committed to supporting family life and sustainability. That’s why enrolment for any additional child from the same family is completely free.

(in the lowest-level class between Playgroup to GCSE)

 

An annual registration fee of £10 will apply to every pupil. The registration fee is payable for each child, including siblings and children attending free of charge as a third child.

📚 Modern Greek – A Level Preparation:

​​

We offer tailored classes that prepare students for Edexcel Modern Greek GCSE and A Level exams.

If you are interested in the A Level Modern Greek programme, please contact Ms Ioanna Kanelaki, Head Teacher, at school@gsow.co.uk.

• 1-student class: £75/month (£750 annually) – 1 hour/week

• 2-student class: £75/month (£750 annually) – 2 hours/week

• 3-student class: £60/month (£600 annually) – 2 hours/week

The only available payment arrangements will be:

A) Monthly payments: exclusively through GoCardless

B) Full-year payments made in advance: directly to the official Hellenic Centre of Wales bank account

GoCardless will help us manage payments more efficiently, maintain accurate records and reduce the significant administrative work currently undertaken by our volunteers. Families who have not yet set up GoCardless, or who require assistance, should contact the school. We will be happy to provide support.
